Vintage Mini’s make me so happy! I saw a bunch of them on a recent trip to Paris and took pictures of them all. I drive an ’05, but my dream is to have a vintage one of my own someday. Thanks for the pictures.

Very good points raised. Thank you! I didn’t realize Albany City Rescue Mission accepts clothes donations (although it registers they accept toiletries so duh, Cute~Ella!)

I’ll look into this further, I have bedding, clothes and pots, and dishes to get rid of!

as a Netflix member you can stream high quality video of movies and television shows over your computer for free. No commercials. It’s awesome. Sure, there are some things that aren’t available for streaming, but that is where the discs come in.

Between Netflix and Hulu, I canceled cable a long time ago. Thankfully since I watch on my laptop, I can get up off the couch and watch in the kitchen, on the porch, and even in some coffee shops (if using headphones).

Donating clothing you no longer wear is great! There are so many great places in the Capital Region to bring items like this. However, what some don’t realize about places such as the Salvation Army and other non-profits that “sell” the donated clothing – is that it can be very empowering for consumers to be able to pay for the items. When clothing is marked down to $1 a shirt, it isn’t much, but it helps those who are seeking assistance to not feel like it’s charity…they have bought and paid for the clothing. Many organizations, such as Unity House in Troy, do a combination of giving items away and allowing consumers to pay a small amount for them, in a traditional thrift store setting. Best of both worlds!
