Sadly, gardening season is coming to a close, and all my pretty flowers and potted herbs on the front stoop will have to come in. Hopefully, my six slow-growing broccoli plants in my Community Garden plot will produce some produce before the frost starts coming.
Check out my tomato crop from this season– for some reason our tomatoes weren’t affected by that ugly blight virus.
They made a great caprese salad — mozzarella, tomatoes, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar — with the fresh basil from the garden.
