To celebrate a lovely spring day, Sam and I strolled to Crisan, a wonderful “edible art bakery” on Lark Street. What did we order? Gelato.
Sam enjoyed a delicious dish of mocha, and I devoured a scoop of pistachio and a scoop of hazelnut on a cone. I know what you’re thinking, “Sam, the big guy, only had one measly scoop, and Melissa had two?” I said, “I wanted a small,” and the response was “cones only go by scoops.”
I couldn’t resist.
Take that Ben & Jerry’s with your annual “free-cone-day”. Our delicious outing only cost $4 and that included a tip for the poor soul, who was left to scoop gelato by herself on a very hot day.
