It has been almost eight months since Sam and I started living together. [I just counted on my fingers, and now I'm thinking WOW--time flies.] Anyway, Sam and I are very much “clutter free” people. Sam with his attachment to sleek modern lines, and well I’m just a neat freak who sometimes feels claustrophobic. However, if you have ever been to our tiny downtown apartment, you would think otherwise.
Recently, Sam and I did some early spring cleaning. In the process, we sold two bags full of Sam’s ancient college text books to Mary Jane’s Book Store, which we received more $140 bucks- oh wait- it was my new text books that we got money for…hehe. We also removed two book shelves that I had purchased during “Filenes- going out of business sale” at the mall. Last, but not least Sam finally convinced me to get rid of our oversized blue chair and ottoman, otherwise known as the “hair chair,” where Jasper sheds all his fur and Molly would sit to peer out the window- a couch that no human would sit on for fear of becoming a fur ball. So, where has all this furniture gone? The wonderfully spacious deck.
In replace of our clutter- we made a faux dinning room- also Sam’s idea. I guess he was tired of our gourmet TV dinners.

Now all we need is a house to spread out a little bit- someday.
