What’s new?
Sam’s Surprise 30th Birthday went off with a hit. Liz, Current Dirt and I left work early to decorate with balloons, candy, streamers, and 30th birthday signs. He didn’t have a clue, and I think it’s safe to say he was pretty much flabbergasted when he walked into Pasqual’s for the big surprise. Friends and family traveled from everywhere, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Western New York- but one of his best friends, Shep takes home the trophy, since he flew in from Virginia just for the night. The party went into the wee hours of the morning, and left one big hangover.
What else?
Liz, – Current Dirt the wonder woman has been dropping the pounds and pant sizes. She has encouraged everyone in the bank to eat healthy and get into shape, including me. In my high school and early college years I would run several miles a day, and for some reason that routine slowly dissolved when I moved into my own place. However- I’m back in the groove because I’ve joined the YMCA. Citizens Bank funds many loans for the Capital District YMCA, and a special offer was given out to all employees- the $100 joiner fee was waived and a month free and. Needless to say, this was an offer I couldn’t refuse. Since, then I have attended many classes with Liz, and my buns of steel are slowly starting to take shape.
p.s. I haven’t had to use much of my Bengay yet, but my heating pad has definitely been getting some use!
