Driving home from work on Friday night, my dad stopped into the PetStop in East Greenbush. The same exact store I purchased Maggie eight years ago, and Molly 2 years ago. Just recently my family had settled on getting a new puppy, hopefully a cocker spaniel. Well what do you know, there were two 11 week old cocker spaniel pups who desperately wanted new homes. My dad called Megan to check the irresistible puppies, and they brought home a cream and apricot cocker spaniel that night.
Ironically, the next day as I was traveling home to work at the Red Barn, I also stopped at the PetStop in East Greenbush. Several irresistible puppies gave me that adorable puppy look, so I called my sister to come check them out. However, she informed they had already had a new puppy, and I was shocked that they had actually taken the initiative to find their own puppy, since I am the only one who brought animals into that house. And after every time I would bring another animal home, I distinctly remembering my Dad saying, “Absolutely no more animals in my house!” Well when I got home this is what I found…
Her name is Cloey.
She’s a doll
When she drinks out her gargantuan water bowl her ears get drenched.
She smelled like a new puppy.
P.S. sorry about the crappy phone pics, real ones coming soon.
