My favorite “odd couple.” Bert walked down the aisle to the theme song from “Mission Impossible” and Chris gracefully walked down to some song that went like this “Here we are, we’ve finally made it” because after 14 years they FINALLY decided to get married.
P.S. I walked around the entire evening with my camera in my hand and didn’t take any pictures! Most likely because I was enjoying the 7-course meal of caviar with pancakes, mushroom custard in an egg shell, pomegranate lobster salad with foie gras, frisee salad with salt ‘n pepper, a little salmon with some green veggies, an amazing rack of lamb with roasted potatoes, and finally a little chocolate cake with a cream custard custard to wash it all down. Not to mention the endless glasses of red and white wine, the amazing appetizers which consisted of oysters on the half shell, fried baby artichokes, and many other outrageous samplings of Bert?s finest creativity in the world of fine dinning.
